The SC Compact is a cultivator specifically designed for use with the CP 42 cup planter (4 x 75 cm). As the successor to the SC 300, it is the second model in Dewulf’s innovative SC series. Like the SC 300, the SC Compact guarantees high, reliable performance and exceptional ease of use. Featuring a 650 mm rotor diameter—12% larger than most other cultivators in its category—it allows for deeper tilling and superior growing bed preparation while maintaining compact dimensions.

Benefits of Integration

When combined with the CP 42, a trailed 4-row cup planter, the SC Compact forms the CP 42 Smart-Float GII. This next-generation planting system integrates soil cultivation, planting, and ridging into a single pass, saving growers time, money, and labor. The 3-in-1 planting combination automatically loosens the right amount of soil and consistently maintains the optimal planting depth relative to the ridge top. This eliminates the need for separate ridging, which benefits soil quality and promotes optimal plant growth.
